More Costume Information

The base costumes - for everyone - will be few different styles of toga's and tunic's, so for the kids undergarments here is what the costumer would like:

Girls - skinny strap white tank tops & shorts or leggings in white (or other "cool" colors - cool meaning white, light blue, cream, off white, light grey etc...).

Boys - white shorts.  *After trying on your toga if a t-shirt is needed we will let you know.

*If you are not able to provide this for your child please let me know.

Good Stuff!

Just wanted to put a quick note out there to say that the kiddos are doing great in rehearsals!  The first act is entirely blocked and we're close to the same in act two!  :)  This afternoon's rehearsal was really good ... Mrs. Raskopf even commented on how much work we got done today!  Oh yeah!!!

Also...thanks for the Business Ad's that are coming in!

Cast Members ... keep working on those lines (and going over your blocking when you do)!  Oh and your projection/articulation - nice loud lines with crisp clean words.

Here are a few of the tongue twisters I've done recently -

If two witches were watching two watches, which witch would watch which watch?

I had a hippopotamus,
I kept him in a shed,
I fed him up on vitamins and vegetable bread
Lest he should be affected by depression or the dumps
By hippopotameasles or hippopotamumps!

Keep up the good work!  :)

Costume Questions

Hi Everyone ...

I've got a few questions from the Costume Designer.

1. SHOES: Could any cast member who owns a pair of sandals that look like "Greek" style sandals bring them in for us to look at?  And potentially use in the show.

2. FABRIC: Anyone with "spare" (or willing to donate) fabric (it could even be old sheets) in white, off white, cream and grey please send it in with your child?  *We would like to see how much fabric we "have" already before we purchase more.

We will begin taking measurements at rehearsals today and tomorrow.

Thanks!  :)

Food Rehearsal January 14th!

So far I've only had one "maybe" and the rest have been confirmed yes's (of the responses I've gotten) to the Food Rehearsal on the 14th, so this is the date I'll go with - and I hope the one maybe turns out to be a yes!!!!

:)

We will still have a rehearsal this Saturday the 7th from 10am to 1pm - we will also be doing some costume fittings and possible prop work on Saturday!

Saturday the 7th Question/Food Date Change

Hi all,

So I've found out that several kids have basketball games on Saturday.  They would also really like to make it to the food rehearsal.  :)  So, if you could let me know if you're able to make a CHANGED FOOD REHEARSAL DATE of Saturday January 14th, that would be great.

It will also allow me to finish the masks this weekend and deal with food next weekend.  :)  Phew!

And it will also allow me to prepare the right amount of food - if I know who's definitely coming.  So please comment on here - or email me at margaret.e.hall@googlemail.com to "rsvp".

Food Rehearsal 10-2pm Saturday January 14th, 2012.

Thanks!

Business Ad's "Plea" :)

I know I've said it a bunch of times already but Business Ad's are how we keep our budget, and so far I only have three ad's sold (and only 2 ad's actually collected).

The deadline on the form is January 13th (I believe) and that is coming up REALLY soon.

So I am "begging" everyone to please try and sell some ad's.

If we do not sell them, next years budget will be majorly smaller.

Please and thank you!
